New Moon, Crescent Moon, Full Moon Bravery and Greed
Before detailing the guide, you must understand how these achievements work and why they are complicated to obtain:
- once the game is over (the four dungeons then the dwarf fortress), you will unlock the map allowing you to do other levels before going to the dwarf fortress. You must have it activated to attempt these achievements
- after finishing the four dungeons, when you go to the dwarf fortress you can choose to explore these same four dungeons again, which you will have to do to unlock the achievements:
- New Moon: Complete 6 dungeons
- Crescent Moon: Complete 8 dungeons
- Full Moon: Complete 8 dungeons then complete the game
- the difficulty of dungeons and bosses is much higher than the first ones
Choice of Bravery and Greed cards
Before starting your adventure, you will need to have this map setup:
- The Fool: extra life
- The Bateleur, The Hanged Man, The Empress, The Wheel of Fortune: specific bonus room in each dungeon
- The Force: glove bonus
- Death, The House of God, the Star, the Lover: gold bonus
- The World, the Emperor: two rooms with a special chest
- Temperance: potion bonuses
And you will absolutely have to deactivate these cards:
- The Chariot, The Hermit, The Judgment, The Sun, The Devil: greatly complicate the run
- The High Priestess: you absolutely must have a baton suited to your route
For the Pope, you should consider it if you play the invulnerability alternative, otherwise don't activate it.

Here is the order of the dungeons to optimize your run:
- Dungeon of Life, take the 20% chance bonus
- Dungeon of Darkness, for bonus trait
- Fire dungeon if need equipment with Wheel of Destiny or dungeon of Order
- Last remaining dungeon
- Do the same for dungeons 5 6 7 8 then go to the dwarf fortress
Best Class Bravery and Greed
You will go on the warrior, which has many advantages:
- a damage buff when tapping on his shield (5 stacks)
- a very good clearing of enemies with the simple triple attack combo
- very good synergies with the path of darkness
Even if it lacks a bit of attack in the air, the boss of darkness remains easy to kill.
Best Equipment and Path Bravery and Greed
With your warrior, take the path of darkness with these passives:
- damage over time on basic attack
- temporary hit points
- improved damage over time
- extra life
- the shadow gear boost
- before going to the dwarf room, take the passive that heals with the gold
To combine with our warrior and his passives, take this equipment, which will be boosted by your shadow path and enchantment:
- Shadow amulet that gives temporary hit points and increases their duration
- Shadow gauntlets that grants stolen life and bonus damage
- Shadow Boots with dodge or roll speed
- Shadow Wand, Double Yourself or Poison Cloud
Alternative invulnerability
Unlike the path of darkness, if you prefer the invulnerable version go on the path of life. Absolutely take the wand giving a shield and enchant it. Combine with gear boosts and if you're lucky the order passive that reduces wand cooldown. At the end of the game, you will have an infinite shield! This will make the game much, much easier.
Additional tips
Here are some tips to help you on your run:
- wait for the dungeon boss to buy the fruits from the merchant
- always transmute equipment you are not using
- wait until you have made the important rooms (elemental, dwarf) to enchant an object
Version two players and more
If you play with several people, for your allies I recommend the same build:
- archer with way of life by putting as many points as possible on the arrows which aim automatically by shooting in the air
- your allies will therefore be support, will bring you a lot of healing and will not take damage
- they will also bring a lot of control effect with the charged arrow and single target damage with the arrows in the air
Although fully completing Bravery and Greed may seem complicated, with this guide you will have everything you need to collect the New Moon, Crescent Moon and Full Moon achievements! You can also try even more dungeons if you have the courage!
