Upgrade gems and runes

Transforming gems is very simple, three of the same type gives them a higher third. However for the runes it's another story:

• Three runes give a higher rune, but only from El to Ort
• For the others, you will have to have in your possession a type of gem, but on cut, chipped, etc. versions. I therefore advise you not to keep a pile of unnecessary gems in stock, but rather if necessary to keep at least one rune of each or even exchange them.

Add sockets in your white equipment

Very practical formula if you want to try a runic word base. Unlike Larzuk's quest, which always adds the maximum number of hunts possible on a piece of white equipment, with this formula you will have between 1 and maximum possible socket. This formula is therefore very useful if the number of hunts for your runic word does not require a maximum number of sockets.

• Ral + Amn + Pure Amethyst + Weapon
• Ral + Thul + pure sapphire + helmet
• Tal + Amn + Pure Ruby + Shield
• Tal + Thul + Pure Topaz + Body Armor

Example:

• White Gaia Bow, Amethyst Ral Amn: 1 to 5 hunts to attempt a runic word

Note that there are formulas to do on magic objects, but suddenly without much interest. To add sockets on rare (unless you have extra Sojs), unique and set items, you will need to go through Larzuk who will add a slot.

Improve the base of a single item

This formula allows the base of a single item to be increased by a third higher: from normal to exceptional, and exceptional to elite. Be careful, the affixes do not change, and suddenly even if this formula exists on rare pieces of equipment, I do not recommend it. Be careful, the formulas to go elite only work in Ladder:

• Ral + Sol + Pure Emerald + Normal Weapon = Exceptional Weapon
• Lum + Pul + Pure Emerald + Exceptional Weapon = Elite Weapon
• Tal + Shael + Pure Diamond + Normal Armor = Exceptional Armor
• Ko + Lem + Pure Diamond + Exceptional Armor = Elite Armor

Here are some very practical examples:

• Goldwarp: unique armor formula normal to exceptional, allows you to have 4 rows of potions
• Herald of Zakarum: exceptional unique armor in elite, allows you to have more damage in smite

Dessert and reroll a runic word

Also very practical formula to remove runes, gems and jewels set in your objects, while destroying them. The good bases of runic words being rare and expensive, it can also be worth it to use this formula to roll a runic word, that is to say that you remove all the runes (which are destroyed) then put them back. For example to reroll an Insight and get more damage or Meditation aura, or a Spirit to get more FCR. However, I advise you not to reroll the expensive runic words, those which contain HR or for example Leprosy which contains 5!

• Hel + City Portal Scroll + Socket Item

I don't like to die

Are you going to kill the Ubers, or speed teleportation? These Total Rejuvenation Potions formulas will come in handy:

• 3 mana potions + 3 healing potions = rejuvenation potion
• 3 mana potions + 3 healing potions + gem = total rejuvenation potion
• 3 rejuvenation potions = total rejuvenation potion

Then leave with 4 x 4 total rejuvenation potions to be almost invulnerable

Repair and reload items

Some objects are expensive, even very expensive to repair and even more to recharge, ie to give it back all of these charges. Be careful, this does not work on ethereal objects, the only way to "repair" them is to insert a Zod in the hunt.

•  Ort + weapon = repair
•  Ort + weapon + cut gem = repair and reload
•  Ral + armor = repair
•  Ral + armor + cracked gem = repair and recharge

Rings and amulets

Less common formula but allowing you to try your luck, especially if you bet (via Gheed for example):

• 3 rings = random amulet
• 3 amulets = random ring
