The interface of Diablo 2 Resurrected: I tell you about the changes between the original and the remake with the npc, player and menus!
The non-player characters of Diablo 2 Resurrected have benefited from a good facelift, as well as a new interface. First amazing thing is that the world appears when we are trading with them, in order to compensate for the magnification of the resolution. You will therefore have a gap between your inventory and the items sold by the PNJ.
You won't lose your bearings though, with a tab and sell system quite similar to the original!
As a reminder or if you are new to the game, here are the NPCs of act 1:
- Charsi: sale of weapons and armor, item repair
- Gheed: sale of weapons and armor, betting system
- Akara: sale of weapons for mages, potions and scrolls
- Kashya: mercenary purchase
So how much gold was lost with Mr. Gheed ?!
For the menus, we are entitled to a sober and modern design, with many improvements in quality of life. To name a few:
- resolution up to 4K, with the choice of textures, shadows, etc.
- the map (location, transparency, etc.)
- shortcuts, no need to open the spell bar to put a shortcut
Finally a menu worthy of the name!
Player, chest and inventory
As for the inventory and the stash, these have not changed much even if they will also have received a good cleanup. the trunk is however much larger, which is a significant plus. You will have access from the start to a shared chest with your other characters.
When the skills, they are clear and clean, no complaints!
For the stats, I was rightly pointed out the arrow that allows you to have all your statistics. Still possibly a little clean up on this but it's already not bad!
Who has never known Diablo 2's mule system!
Diablo 2 Resurrected stats
Here is a good point for Diablo 2 Resurrected, they managed to clearly improve the design without changing the soul of the game, which was not won in advance. The quality of life additions are also very appreciable!
