Metamorphic Druid Bear and Wolf Leveling: I present to you the equipment and skills of the two versions of the druid to face Diablo!

Preamble

The shapeshifter druid came first, and since I couldn't decide between Bear or Wolf, I suggest you both! Another alternative is to go through the Fire Druid (crack etc) then reset to shapeshifter. Attention the names have a new translation on D2R compared to D2!

To save your mana, consider doing self-attacks and only refreshing the buff duration with the skill! Thanks to Kailrex for the tip 🙂

Statistics

For statistics take level 80:

• strength: enough to carry a weapon that hits hard
• Dexterity: 0 (except if needed for your weapon)
• vitality: the rest
• energy: 0

Wolf version skills

The Wolf version offers more speed but less resistance, here are the skills to take:

Metamorphosis:

• Night Howler: 17
• Lycanthropy: 5
• Animal Rabies: 1

Invocation:

• Sage of the Oak: 5

Bear Skills

The Bear version has more resistances but is slower than the wolf version.

• Baton: 14

Equipment

For the equipment take what you can, except:

• for the wolf, the runic word Black (in English) on a two-handed weapon
• for the bear, a weapon clapping quickly with two hands or with one hand
