Gameplay

If you are looking for nervousness, look no further; Hades will meet all your desires! For having tested and played a multitude of games and different styles, Hades arrives in the top of the nervous games. Dodge, hit, throw, use your ultimate in a few seconds to get to defeat the hordes of enemies that present themselves. The negative side of this style, however, is the button bash and somewhat messy fights if you do not have at least ten hours on the game. It will therefore be very popular with try hard players and who quickly presses the buttons, but the others will be a little neglected.

Ultra dynamic gameplay HadesUltra dynamic gameplay, rarely seen!

Design

On the overall design side, Hades sets the pace. Whether it's the graphics, the soundtrack or the story with the Greek gods, it's almost flawless! The only complaint I have are the zone animations that are much too showy and a bit "rude", apart from that the rest is beautiful!

Rogue-lite and improvements

Hades is synonymous with improvements, they are innumerable, whether it is weapons, constructions or even the links with the NPCs. You will be able to spend a lot of time developing your character well thanks to them, and this is undoubtedly one of the strong points of the game. Each run will also be different, because you will have a lot of possibilities, whether it is the choice of rooms or your skills. Each run is made to be different and always bringing a lot of loot to improve your character.

Weapons to unlock HadesLots of weapons to find and upgrade

Bestiary and zones

After having told you how well Hades is built, I pass on the big negative point of the game. It has four acts, themselves made up of about fifteen rooms, and you will find in each act about ten types of monster. . The monsters faced will always be the same, although there will be some variations, the base will remain the same whether you played Hades for an hour or a hundred. It's quite incomprehensible for a game that offers so much content to have such an underdeveloped bestiary, and it will greatly affect the monotony of the game. Worse, if you don't like a certain type of mob, (for me it is are the big rats that annoy me ^^), you will always have to face them. I was expecting a lot more variety, or possibly a real novelty when completing the game, but it's not!

Bestiary the rats HadesRats are unbearable but you will have a lot of them and with each run!

Endgame and lifespan

Usually I rarely talk about the end game in order to avoid spoiling you, but it is impossible to rate Hades without having done his end game. So skip this section if you want to keep the surprise.

Once you've killed the end boss for the first time, you'll unlock a "heat" system. The more heat you put on, the more difficult the runs will be. For example, you can add damage to monsters, new bonuses, etc. The system is rather well thought out and will allow for the wide content offered in terms of construction, weapon upgrades and new unlocks, history and links with the characters. On the other hand, no new mobs, a few new areas and nice surprises that I won't tell you to keep the surprise, but if you have already had enough of restarting the game to go and kill the boss for the first time, the following you probably won't like it. On the other hand, if you like challenges, it will meet your expectations. Some players even say the game starts after you kill the boss! I personally had a hard time getting into this end game, due to the lack of variations in mobs and acts, but my collector side took over and it's still pretty cool, without being transcendent either.

Count between 15 and 30 hours to complete the game, then between 30 and 60 hours in end game mode depending on your determination!

Balance sheet and note

What makes <span style="font-family: 'arial black', 'avant garde';">inlingua</span> different The -
- Ultra mega dynamic gameplay
- A very beautiful design in mythology
- Lots of improvements and choices during runs
- A very present end game ...

- ... but that will not suit everyone
- Few bestiary and zone
- You will need to bash the buttons

Difficult to note Hades, because it approaches a sublime game but besides that its lack of bestiary is quite incomprehensible. It is rarely found at a reduced price and you will have to spend around twenty dollars to get it. If you are ever tempted by the game, I advise you to take a good look at the end game of this test so as not to be surprised by it. For my part, I remain quite seduced by the content, even if I have a taste of incomplete, due to the quality offered by the game!

So I noted Hades 3,5 / 5
