The magician in a nutshell
As the name suggests, this class will be suitable for all spellcaster fans. You can decline it on the three available elements, Fire, Lightning and Ice. You can also choose a life or energy barrier version that will take the damage before your life. Two masteries are currently available, the Sorcerer version to specialize in spells and the Spell Blade version to orient it in melee with magic attacks.

Here are the important points for the mage to consider:
- Arcanist for intelligence bonus
- the Barrier part if you play this version
- crit chance and multiplier
- the winter rune only if you play the Lightning Blast and Volcanic Orb spells
Here are the important points to consider for wizarding mastery:

Synergy with other classes
Even if the mage has all the advantages to be played solo, he also has many buffs that can be useful in a team:
- Lightning Blast, with the Closed Circuit node to boost allies' damage and critical chance
- Flame Ward, with the Selfless Sorcery node, allowing it to be used on allies
- Focus, with the Friendly Focus node to spread your buffs to allies
- Static Orb, with Charged Allies node, increase effect and shock chance
You can thus have a very good synergy:
- Lightning Blast with any critical damage based build, like the Rogue Bladedancer
- Flame Ward with any other build using Barrier
- Focus in priority with builds using a lot of mana
- Static Orb with other Lightning builds, e.g. Primalist Shaman
The mage is a very well balanced spellcaster, allowing you to quickly farm solo or help your allies in a team. It will suit anyone who wants to play elementary!
