Pre-Uber Elder
The Uber Elder consists of killing the Shaper and the Elder at the same time, in order to drop a Watcher's eye with three modifiers. These therefore have the possibility of being extremely expensive and will compensate for the difficulty of this combination of bosses.
This boss is influenced by the level of the Atlas, if you are not used to it I advise you to remove all the gems from the Atlas to have it level 0. It can also be affected by the Maven, which brings absolutely nothing but will make the fight harder. So remember to deactivate it.
To access the Shaper's Realm then absence of value and meaning (the Elder grabs the Shaper to bring it) and face them, you will need to have four fragments:
- Fragment of Knowledge - by killing Shaper
- Fragment of Shape - by killing the Shaper
- Fragment of Terror - by killing the Elder
- Fragment of Emptiness - by killing the Elder
It will therefore be necessary to kill at least twice the shaper and the elder to recover the four fragments, but be careful because they have an equivalent drop chance, and you may therefore have duplicates.
Phase 1, Shaper to bring to 75% life
Right off the bat, the two bosses will be bumping into you. You will notice a shield on the Elder, which will be impossible to dps until the Shaper is at 75%. So start hitting the Shaper to lower his HP up to 75%.
Phase 2, Elder to bring to 75% life
Once the Shaper is at 75%, he is now the one who will have an invulnerability shield. You will therefore have to concentrate your efforts on the Elder to bring it to 75% of its life as well.
Phase 3, intermediate portals
Once the Elder is at 75%, both bosses will be invulnerable and null portals will appear. You'll need to get rid of all of these before you can continue hitting bosses.
Phase 4, Shaper to bring to 50%
We take the same, we start again! Bring the Shaper to 50% of his health, the Elder being invulnerable.
Phase 5, Elder to bring to 50%
This time it's his comrade Elder's turn, which you will have to bring to 50% of his life.
Phase 6, intermediate portal
It is now the Shaper who will make his portals, which you will have to clean to be able to hit the bosses again.
Phase 7, Shaper to bring to 25%
I think you are starting to understand the principle, you will have to lower the Shaper's health while the Elder is invulnerable. Attention, the shaper gains the possibility of casting his explosive teleportation
Phase 8, Elder to bring to 25%
Once the Shaper is invulnerable, switch to the Elder again. Attention, the Elder wins the possibility of create tentacles and slam
Phase 9, intermediate portal
The Elder reopens null portals, which you will need to clean up before moving on to the last phase.
Phase 10, Elder and Shaper to kill
Once you are in this phase, both bosses will be able to be DPS. It is much more interesting to kill the Shaper first, however, since the Elder will remain at 1 hit point until the Shaper is dead.
An unparalleled difficulty, but killable if you manage to dodge their attacks! And if you come across a Watcher that's worth it, your hard work will pay off!
