Ravenswatch isn't easy, but here are all the things you should know to get started in the game better!
#1 Altars of Life Increase Your Max Hit Points
In addition to healing you, the altars of life give additional hit points. It is crucial to take them before the boss!
#2 Tumors decrease the life of the boss
To put you in good conditions, each tumor killed will decrease the life of the boss by 20%. Be careful, the fights are difficult and you risk losing lives.
#3 Clear the area before accepting the quest
Whether it's to recover the stones or the wooden planks, remember to eliminate the monsters around in order to recover as many quest objects as possible. For the stones, go directly to the shelters to collect as many as possible.
#4 Go to the merchant when you have 300 Dream Shards
Don't wait until the end of the level to buy items, these boosts will allow you to be more efficient and lose less life. Return to the merchant before the boss arrives.
#5 Make the most of the time
No need to go to the boss area before it arrives, you will be teleported directly to it. Take full advantage of the time available!
#6 Read your upgrades and skills
The heroes of Ravenswatch all have quirks that you will need to understand to master them. Skill improvement quests will use one of these features, remember to read them carefully to be able to use them, because it is not trivial!
#7 Don't jump right into the fight
Ravenswatch is punishing, if you jump into a group of enemies, you will regret it very quickly! Attack them one by one, don't rush and think about kiting.
#8 Don't let your ally down
In groups, lives are shared. Each life used will consume it for all players. Moreover, when you have no more life, if a player dies you will have to quickly resuscitate him, otherwise his game will be definitively over!
#9 Playing in groups increases experience
In addition to being super fun, playing together will give you extra experience, whether you win or lose. This experience is also increased depending on the difficulty, if you have won, the activities done and the level.
#10 Prioritize Dream Chests and Shards
The objectives on the map are numerous, quests, sub-zones, time trial events, chests, dream shards... Two are particularly interesting, as they are simple and very profitable. The chests, giving you an object and the dream deposits giving the currency. You won't have any bosses to face and an always interesting reward.
#11 Always have a source of healing in combat
Even though the life orbs will heal you, you shouldn't just rely on it. Each hero has a way to heal or give a shield, locate the improvement talent on your level check!
#12 Reach max level before the boss
In addition to unlocking your ultimate ability, leveling up will give you resistance and damage. It will absolutely be necessary to have all the levels before facing the boss!
#13 Don't waste your time on aimless enemies
The map is big, you will never have time to do everything. So avoid wasting time on enemies that don't have an associated objective. Be careful not to be overwhelmed, though, knowing that the enemies will return to their position after traveling a certain distance.
#14 Use enemy stun bar
Each enemy has stun resistance. Once you land enough hits on it, it will be stunned and unable to attack. Take the opportunity to inflict as much damage as possible on him, it would be a shame to be at a distance or with skills on cooldown at this time.
#15 Memorize enemy attacks
Whether it's for bosses or enemies, they always have a pattern, ie a pattern of attack and passive phase per monster that repeats. Once each pattern of each monster is retained, the game will be much easier to complete.
