A new bug is plaguing the game after the May update. What are the temporary fixes to solve the issue?

Lost Ark has been out for several months and many gamers are still enjoying the game. With new content released from time to time, the game is heating up. Unfortunately, the navigation has not been smooth for the MMO published by Amazon, as various bugs, glitches plague the world of Arkesia. A revolutionary new bug has been discovered, preventing the progress of Lost Ark accounts.

What is the new bug plaguing the game?

Lost Ark relies heavily on its cursor for targeting skills, moving items and abilities, and the movement itself. However, a new glitch has been preventing players from doing these actions and has made farming Lost Ark gold impossible whenever activated.

The glitch locks an item into the left-mouse button while players click or move around things in their inventory or slots. Once an item icon sticks to the LMB, gamers can no longer use the left-most button, rendering it useless. Players have surmised that the glitch arrived in the game and the massive May update.

While the bug is more of a minor inconvenience, it can be a significant problem when it occurs during raids. Whenever players load into raids or dungeons, they need to complete the challenge they are undertaking to get loots and rewards. Otherwise, parties can opt to abandon the challenge via unanimous vote.

Since players cannot use their attacks and skills if the bug occurs during raid instances, it is almost impossible for them to clear the challenge unless they get carried by their team, which is highly unlikely for modes such as Legion Raids. The only option for adventurers is to abandon the fight to restart the game. Unfortunately, leaving the game without the abandoned vote from the party can result in penalties.

What is the fix for the bug?

One way to remove the glitch is to load into a new area or character so that the loading screen will reset the user interface, which will remove the error. Unfortunately, this seems to be a temporary fix. Many reported that using the loading screen as a fix will not permanently remove the bug, and it will return after a short while. However, some adventurers have also stated that switching characters or locations can effectively eliminate the glitch. The effectiveness of this solution varies from player to player.

The most effective fix for this particularly annoying bug is to restart the game. While the previous solution had varying effects on players, closing and opening the MMO is a sure way to remove the bug permanently for that specific login instance. Unfortunately, leaving Lost Ark to relog makes players susceptible to another problem.

Lost Ark has bot problems

Whenever adventurers log into Lost Ark, there is a high chance that they will meet a very long queue, especially for populated servers like Valtan and Mari. The line can take up to an hour before gamers can load into Arkesia. Unfortunately, these long waiting times are not caused by actual players.

Since its launch, bots have been a persistent problem in Lost Ark, which is not uncommon for a free-to-play game. These AI-controlled accounts have been flooding the game's servers resulting influx in the queue. They are essentially taking up server places or slots, which could have been given to real live adventurers.

Aside from causing long waiting lines, the bots have also pushed several Lost Ark items to tank their value. These AI-controlled characters have been farming non-stop for valuable resources for crafting, which creates a surplus that devalues these materials. In addition, many of these bots are also used for farming gold, which many sites sell online.

Amazon Gaming Studio has already made the biggest ban wave in recent gaming history, with about a million accounts suspended. The studio has also taken several steps to combat the botting problem. Unfortunately, the issue still persists despite the admins’ best efforts.
