Necromancer Summon Build: following the Wolcen Arise update, check out my build to push 200+ expeditions!
How invocations work
The information in the patch is not really clear, I tested point by point all the damage systems of the summons. This made it possible to build the build around its information and to explain many of my build choices. Here's everything you need to know:
- Skeleton Summons cannot critically hit or apply affliction
- Summons damage increases with% spell, material, occult, and elemental damage
- regardless of their type of damage, as a precaution and in case of correction of patch note of what is for me a bug I built this build in material physics
- damage also increases with damage added to spells, and not to attacks (except for the weapon which is always attacking)
- you must therefore put damage added to spells on all your equipment including gems
- projectile damage works well on archers
- the attack speed is supposed to work, but I didn't have a concrete way to verify, I didn't put any in my build
How the build works
This build uses the highest possible raw damage combined with resistance and dodge. For mobility I play on endurance because I need my 6 spells. I chose to take 5 summoning spells and 1 situational spell. The spell will either be a buff to kill the boss, or an area clear for expeditions. I also play the zombie explosions to add more clear. Be careful with your willpower, you will only rely on potions. You can optionally play stick but will lose damage.
Statistics
Here are the stats to aim for:
- 60% dodge
- 50k life
- 5500 resistance score
Put all your points in toughness, you can possibly do a mixed toughness agility but I don't find the DPS difference to be huge.
Equipment
For the equipment, here are the stats you must have:
- pieces of armor: material damage, dodge | dodge gems
- accessories: damage added to spells, material damage% | gems% physical damage
- weapon: damage added to attacks x3 | gems% damage added to spells
- catalyst:% spell damage, damage added to spells | gems% physical damage
Spells

Devourer Swarm x2 Hunter Swarm x3 Lightning Discharge Or Plague Door |
Single target DPS and AoE Single target DPS Buff vs. Boss Clear AoE |
The spells that I tested that did not bear fruit:
- Livor Mortis, tanking but no damage
- Anomaly, possible alternative to Plague Gate but less effective
- Devouring Embers, buff duration is shorter than Lightning Discharge for an equivalent buff
- I also tested combinations 3 summons 3 buff, 4 summons 2 buff, 6 summons 0 buff, the most effective is the 5 summon 1 buff
Spell # 1a Lightning Discharge
Spell # 1b Plague Door
Devouring Swarm x2
Hunter Swarm x3

Below are the liabilities, take them in this order:

- 1.1.4: creation
Some people will have waited a long time before I release this build, hope you like it and can have fun with this one! Do not hesitate to vary the pleasures by using this build as a base, there is a lot of possibility on the summons of Wolcen Arise!

Hello I have not tt test but instead of archers the livor mortis with rockets is not better?
Hey! A priori you can build with 3 livor 3 skeleton archers and put full projectile damage it works well 🙂
I took over wolcen while waiting for lost ark and my faith very nice this build for leveling 🙂
for duplicate skills you have to have reached the end game, right?
Yeah absolutely! once you have Champion of Stormfall you have to unlock them through the constructions. The first is quite simple, the second a bit longer!
ok merci
